About Plateau Arabians
Alada Baskin I is proudly owned by Plateau Arabians – Kurt, Joan, and Christine Lawson. We began our involvement with Arabian horses when Christine was 10 years old and wanted to learn to ride. Little did we know that would lead to – at present count – 15 horses including Alada Baskin I. We breed one to two mares a year and show in both halter and performance. The first of our Alada Baskin I babies will be making their show ring debut in 2009.
Our association with this remarkable stallion began in 2000 when we visited the legendary Khemosabi in Bonsall, California. Across the barn aisle we caught sight of the beautiful bay stallion, Alada Baskin I, who eventually became a part of our family. His spirit, beauty, vitality and intuitiveness drew us to him just as those qualities have captivated so many others.
Alada Baskin I lives full-time at our ranch on the Santa Rosa Plateau where he greets us every time we walk outside. You are welcome to come by and meet him - just give us a call.
